Sarah Patterson received her bachelor of music degree in violin performance from Washburn University and a master’s degree in violin performance from Michigan State University. Sarah has performed extensively with several chamber groups and has played with a number of orchestras, including the Topeka Symphony Orchestra and Jackson Symphony Orchestra. Sarah currently performs with Slivovitz, a klezmer ensemble based in Lansing, Michigan.
Sarah’s passion for teaching music has continued to grow in her 10 years as a violin instructor. Sarah enjoys teaching students of all ages, from very young children to adults. Starting this fall, she also became the JSO’s String Team teacher for Ezra Eby Elementary School in Napoleon, MI.
