For over 44 years, making music on the trombone has been a passion for Bob. He began playing the trombone in 5th grade because of a gift his Uncle Vern gave him a few years earlier – a silver toy trombone. Bob was born and raised in the small South Dakota town of White, graduated from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, with a music education degree. He taught public school music for two years before making retail management a career for the next 18 years. In 2002, he left the hectic life of retail sales to work on a degree in special education. Bob is currently a special education teacher at Napoleon High School. He makes his home in Jackson with his wife Jenee, daughter Jaie, and son Phil.
