Belle is a versatile harpist who works as a lesson teacher, gigging musician, recording musician, soloist, music arranger, and orchestra sub. Orchestras that she has played with include Lansing Symphony Orchestra, Jackson Symphony Orchestra, Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra, and Adrian Symphony Orchestra. Now she serves as the President of the Capitol Harp Ensemble in Lansing, MI, and is the Immediate Past President of the West Michigan Harp Chapter of the American Harp Society, Inc. Belle earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees in harp performance from Michigan State University’s College of Music as well as her minor in Music Entrepreneurship and a certificate in Music Career Development. She now serves as the Director of Fund and Audience Development for the Jackson Symphony Orchestra. In 2023 she was awarded the Jackson Magazine “30 and Under Award” for her impact in her community. Her harp services extend throughout Michigan and she lives in Jackson, MI with her husband Ian Morin, and their dog Cinnabun.
Belle teaches all levels and ages of students in her private lessons. She believes that learning how to play the harp is different for every individual and caters her teaching to her students’ personal goals and desires. harpistbelle.com
