Anne Fleming grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan where she studied violin with Suzuki teachers Lisa Tarzia and Ed Sprunger. Now a Jackson resident, her vocal instructors have included Melissa Osmond, Linda Dykstra and Robert Doyle. Anne has a BA in Musical Theater from Hope College and is Level III certified in Somatic VoiceworkTM, the LoVetri Method. She is music director for the contemporary ensemble at her church and has been teaching violin through the JSOCMS for over ten years. Anne’s favorite part of teaching is seeing the pride and delight on her students’ faces when they are able to perform a song from start to finish for the first time. It is why she never gets tired of hearing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.
